FAQ

What is Breathwork ?

Breathwork is a guided meditation practice that uses intentional breathing to connect the body, mind, and spirit. Inspired by the teachings of David Elliott, this method views the breath as a bridge between consciousness and life energy, a direct way to access emotional clarity, self-love, and healing.

What is Reiki ?

Reiki is a gentle energy-healing practice that uses light touch or hands hovering above the body to promote relaxation, balance, and emotional well-being. It supports the body’s natural ability to restore itself.

What is Sound Bath ?

A sound bath is a meditative experience using instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, or gongs. The vibrations help calm the mind, deepen relaxation, and release tension from the body.

What is the difference between the one-day and three-day retreats?

The one-day retreat offers a full day of guided healing practices and relaxation. The three-day retreat provides a deeper experience with additional sessions, guided conversations, and more spacious time for rest, reflection, and connection with nature.

What is included in the retreats?

Both the one-day and three-day retreats include guided breathwork, Reiki healing, sound bath sessions, grounding practices, and time for reflection. Yoga mats and blankets are provided, and meals are included based on the retreat length.

Do I need previous experience with breathwork, Reiki, or sound healing?

No experience is required. All sessions are designed for beginners and returning practitioners alike.

What should I bring to the retreat?

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a refillable water bottle. All other materials, including mats and blankets, are provided.

Is transportation included in the retreat fee?

Transportation is not included in the base retreat cost, but you may add round-trip transportation as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. If you choose this add-on, you will meet at our designated Manhattan pickup location. Full details and instructions will be included in your confirmation email.

What should I eat before the retreat?

For best results, we recommend not eating for at least one hour before the one-day retreat and two hours before the three-day retreat departure.

Are the retreats suitable for everyone?

Participants must be in good general health. If you have any medical conditions, please consult your doctor before attending.

Is there a minimum age to join?

Retreats are designed for adults 18 years and older.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations are subject to our retreat policies. One-day retreat cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable. Three-day retreat deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations within 15 days of the retreat are not eligible for credit.

Can I attend alone?

Absolutely. Many participants attend solo, and the space is designed to be welcoming and supportive.

What are the room accommodations like?

Rooms are shared with one other participant. We pair guests thoughtfully to support comfort and a positive retreat experience.

Are the bathrooms private or shared?

Bathrooms are shared among participants. They are cleaned and maintained regularly to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout the retreat.

How large are the retreat groups?

Group sizes vary by retreat but are intentionally kept small to maintain a calm, intimate environment.

Are the retreats accessible for participants with mobility or physical limitations?

Our retreat locations vary in layout and terrain, and some activities take place outdoors. If you have mobility needs or accessibility concerns, please contact us before registering so we can discuss the specific retreat setup and determine whether the environment will be comfortable and safe for you.

Is the retreat safe for individuals with medical or mental health conditions?

Participants must be in good general health to attend. Breathwork and certain healing practices may not be suitable for individuals with specific medical or mental health conditions. If you have concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before registering and let us know in advance so we can help determine if this retreat is appropriate and safe for you.
